A Jeju Island trip is always exciting and enjoyable. Especially if you're looking for a luxurious hotel stay near Seogwipo Jungmun, you may have considered the Shilla Jeju Hotel. It's one of Jeju's representative hotels, consistently popular for a long time. Today, I'll briefly summarize my experience and the charms of the Shilla Jeju Hotel.

One of the reasons I chose the Shilla Jeju Hotel was the clean and calm atmosphere of the rooms. While it's not brand new (due to the age of the building), the organized interior, bedding condition, and wonderful ocean view were satisfying.

Breakfast Time: Approximately 7:30 AM - 10:30 AM (Brunch is 12 PM - 2 PM)
Features: It offers a wide range of Korean, Western, Japanese, and Chinese dishes, with a plentiful fruit and dessert selection.
Brunch Buffet: Popular for its relaxed atmosphere compared to the morning rush. However, it's recommended to arrive early as lines can be long before 12 PM.
I personally felt that the quality of the buffet food at the Shilla Hotel was excellent overall. The signature dish, "Jjamppong" (also orderable near the pool), is famous for its rich seafood flavor and spicy broth, and lived up to its reputation.

Another reason for the Shilla Jeju Hotel's enduring popularity is its well-equipped swimming pool (Sumbie Spa Zone).

5) Review & Tips
If you want a quiet rest... I recommend the Shilla Jeju Hotel! Compared to Lotte Hotel, it has a relatively calm and relaxed atmosphere. Many say it's more suitable for couples and honeymooners.
If you're traveling with children... While the Shilla has good facilities for children, if you want a livelier atmosphere with more diverse play facilities, Lotte Hotel Jeju is worth considering.
Reducing Costs: Agoda often runs promotions. Consider booking a room-only deal and choosing breakfast or other food and beverage services on-site. This method is sometimes cheaper than packages!
